Miller, Kary
Kary
received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado College. After
working in an experiential learning environment in California, she
taught 8th grade for three years in New York City as a member of Teach
for America. Concurrently, she earned a M.S. in teaching from Pace
University. Presently a second year student in the Education
Policy program, Kary is interested in issues pertaining to urban and
comparative education, educational planning, schools as community
centers, and university-community partnerships. As a research
assistant, she is currently working on a project that examines the
relationship between parent literacy and student engagement in India.
