Coaches at the American School of Warsaw (ASW) and the Anglo-American School of Moscow (AAS) gathered for two-day professional development workshops facilitated by Dr. Bob Benham of the ISYS in September of 2006. Twenty-two coaches participated at the Warsaw site and twenty coaches at the Moscow school. Activities included coaches' self- and peer-assessment activities, systematic observations and video-taped analyses of on-site practice sessions, a study of John Wooden's Teaching Practices and Pyramid of Success, and small-group evaluation activities designed to engage coaches in dialogue about coaching philosophies at their school.
