Individual Appointments:

Students are advised in the Student Affairs Office, located at 134 Erickson Hall. The Student Affairs Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Current MSU students can schedule an advising appointment on-line. Non-MSU students must call (517) 353-9680 to schedule an appointment with an advior.

Usually, early in the semester, you can make an appointment within a week time. Later on, when the Schedule of Courses book is available on campus, you might have to schedule several weeks in advance. It is best to schedule with an advisor about a week prior to your computer/telephone enrollment date.

Make good use of your advisement sessions. Prior to each advisement session, be sure to review program requirements, create a list of questions, and do a preliminary planning of your schedule.

If you have a short question, we encourage you to use your e-mail account and the PILOT program. Our e-mail addresses are:

Janet Chegwidden CHEGWID1@MSU.EDU
Joella Cogan COGANJ@MSU.EDU
Christine Gajda GAJDA@MSU.EDU
Jennifer Watson WATSONJ4@MSU.EDU
Amanda Gray grayama1@msu.edu
Jean Brown BROWNJ32@MSU.EDU

If your question is complicated or requires a detailed answer, you may be asked to schedule an appointment.
