Michigan State University provides teacher candidates
with opportunities to gain the critical knowledge and skills needed to teach all children. The College of Education is consistently ranked as
one of the leading colleges in the nation for pursuing a career in education. This ranking reflects, in part, the high esteem in
which K-12 employers hold our graduates. Teachers
from MSU are particularly well prepared in both subject matter knowledge, gained through
strong undergraduate academic coursework, and in classroom instruction and management,
gained through combined bachelors and post-baccalaureate education courses and
field-based experiences.
