The MSU School
Psychology Program has several doctoral funding opportunities for
students who are especially interested in taking on future leadership
positions within university (e.g., faculty member), community (e.g.,
service director), or school settings (e.g., director of psychological/support
services) are strongly encouraged to apply. Information on two potential
programs, the University Fellows Program and the Enhance Your Future
conference, is included below, with links to additional information.
The
Graduate School at MSU offers fellowship programs that provide financial
support for outstanding students who plan to enroll in a doctoral
program. In assisting MSU achieve its educational mission, our goal
is to foster an intellectually vital and diverse educational community
that will prepare graduate students to assume their professional
roles in a diverse society. The fellowship packages, each worth
approximately $100,000 in tuition, stipend, assistantships, and
insurance over four years, will be awarded on a competitive basis
to students admitted to the Doctoral program in School Psychology.
Applicants who would like to also be considered for multi-year University and College Fellowships are encouraged to submit their applications earlier than the December 1 deadline, preferably by November 15. We encourage you to look at the

procedures.
Fellowship decisions
are largely based on undergraduate GPA, GRE scores (verbal, quantitative,
writing/analytical), and strength of undergraduate institution.

traditionally underrepresented groups in the profession. The MSU
School Psychology Program is deeply committed to promoting students'
multicultural competence, to enhancing diversity within the profession,
and to educating scholars and practitioners from traditionally underrepresented
groups.
