Outreach Data Services website which contains a comprehensive set of
links to many useful data sources, including grade level content
expectations, MEAP data, Census of
Population, the Education Policy Center at MSU, and much more. These
data resources are critical for determining indicators that are
useful to parents, educators, community members, for school and
district improvement planning, planning for individual students,
classes and programs.
Annenberg: The Learning Classroom: Theory into Practice
(awesome and free)
Thirteen half-hour programs
featuring leading education researchers illustrate a variety of
learning theories with applications to classroom practice. Videos
of teachers demonstrating practices that apply the theories are
provided. It is FREE! You must have Windows Media Player
(latest version) which can be downloaded for free. Register for
free, and you have access to Video on Demand
ASSIST Beginning Teachers
This comprehensive website contains
over 1000 research based, practical, downloadable tools and
resources organized around comprehensive teacher induction and
critical areas of teaching. The tools and resources are intended
for direct use in classrooms, with school based professional
learning communities, in mentoring relationships and for organizing
comprehensive induction. The tools are about fostering good
teaching practice, and all educators will find them useful.

Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning
CASEL is a collaborative that works
to advance the science and evidence-based practice of social and
emotional learning (SEL). They write books, articles, and briefs
that synthesize scientific advances in SEL and explain their
implications for practice. This site provides a wealth of resources
that address social and emotional learning.

National Board for professional Teaching Standards, provides
exhibits of teaching practice in video and text by National Board
certified teachers. You may have access to these classroom teaching
videos and accompanying explanatory text at no cost.
These exhibits cover various subjects, levels and exemplary
pedagogical practices.
