Together with the UAW DaimlerChrysler National Training Center staff and vendors, VITAL has created a new learning dynamic that offers UAW represented workers at DaimlerChrysler with new lifelong learning opportunities through LearnNTC.com.

Project Excellence

The mission of Project Excellence at Michigan State University’s Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies is to collaborate with Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) to enhance its program evaluation and outcome measurement processes. The overall objective of the partnership project is to conduct data summary, analysis, and reporting activities related to MRS case service processes. In addition, MRS seeks consultation from Project Excellence when specific functions warrant support, including evaluation of MRS grants.

Student Rehabilitation Association (SRA)

The Student Rehabilitation Association (SRA) is comprised of students in rehabilitation counseling at Michigan State University. The organization's primary functions are to provide for social and peer support, networking within the rehabilitation community, professional development activities, and services to the community.

Michigan Rehabilitation Conference

This website provides detailed information related to the Annual Michigan Rehabilitation Conference. This conference is sponsored through joint efforts of the Michigan Rehabilitation Association, the MARO Employment and Training Association, and other partner organizations.

National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE)

The National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) is a professional organization of educators dedicated to quality services for persons with disabilities through education and research. NCRE advocates up-to-date education and training and the maintenance of professional standards in the field of rehabilitation. Our organization was formed in 1955 and has evolved into the leading professional association for rehabilitation educators in the 21st Century. NCRE has grown to represent over 90 institutions of higher education and 600 individual members. Membership is diverse and is composed of professional educators and researchers. We offer two national conferences, a newsletter, a peer reviewed journal, and a network of colleagues and resources

Big 3

This site is a knowledge collection center and a community watering hole to support the academic work of rehabilitation students and faculty and to provide an environment for reflective practitioners. The Big 3 venture emerged from a long time collaboration between three Rehabilitation Counseling Programs of the Big Ten (11) Universities. The students and faculty of Michigan State University, the University of Iowa and The Pennsylvania State University welcome you to our knowledge management environment. Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE)

The mission of the Council on Rehabilitation Education, Inc. (CORE) is the accreditation of Rehabilitation Counselor Education (RCE) Programs to promote the effective delivery of rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities by promoting and fostering continuing review and improvement of master’s degree level RCE Programs.

Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)

The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) sets the standard for quality rehabilitation counseling services in the U.S. and Canada. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, CRCC has certified more than 35,000 counselors since its incorporation in 1974.

National Rehabilitation Association (NRA)

The National Rehabilitation Association (NRA) is a member organization whose mission is to promote ethical and excellent practice in rehabilitation. Our members include rehab counselors, physical, speech and occupational therapists, job trainers, consultants, independent living instructors and other professionals involved in the advocacy of programs and services for people with disabilities.

American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA)

ARCA is an organization of rehabilitation counseling practitioners, educators, and students who are concerned with improving the lives of people with disabilities. Its mission is to enhance the development of people with disabilities throughout their life span and to promote excellence in the rehabilitation counseling profession. ARCA's goal is to provide the type of leadership that encourages excellence in the areas of rehabilitation counseling practice, research, consultation, and professional development.

National Association of Multicultural Rehabilitation Concerns (NAMRC)

Education and awareness of multicultural issues is the primary goal of the Association. Programs and activities also provide a vehicle for the organization to advocate for the rehabilitation needs of multicultural persons with disabilities; ensure the provision of quality and equitable services and enhance the development of multicultural rehabilitation professionals.
