Dr
Chandra Donnell, Assistant Professor, joined the
program in 2005. Formerly she was the Coordinator
of the Rehabilitation Counseling Program, University
of Memphis, where she worked as an Assistant Professor
from 2001-2005. Dr. Donnell is a 2001 graduate of
the Rehabilitation Counselor Education Program at
Michigan State University. Her active research agenda
addresses two major areas of interest: (1) multicultural
and diversity issues in rehabilitation counseling,
and (2) severe mental illness and rehabilitation
outcomes. She has an outstanding publication record
for someone at this early stage of her career, and
very active making formal paper presentations at
the national level. Dr. Donnell has been very active
in professional service, and is widely viewed as
one of the rising stars among the new young leaders
in the multicultural counseling/diversity area in
our discipline.
