Dr. Laura Apol

    Laura Apol is an assistant professor of teacher education. Her areas of expertise are children's literature and writing theory. Her research interests include literary theory and children's literature, issues of gender in children's literature, cultural studies, and historical children's literature. She has co-edited a collection of poetry for children and, as a published writer and poet, she conducts creative writing workshops and classes for teachers and students on all levels.
