Already highlighted in The New York Times last year, a study abroad program in Ireland was inaugurated in summer 2007 by College of Education Professor Leahy and sponsored by the College’s Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. On site in Dublin, Ireland, participating students had a variety of opportunities to develop more knowledgeable perceptions, attitudes and beliefs about persons with disabilities.
