Ni, Yongmei
Yongmei Ni’s
research interests focus on educational finance, school choice and
educational policies related to teaching and learning. Having
obtained her BS in Mathematics and MA in Economics, Yongmei is
interested in policy research using quantitative methodologies.
Her dissertation examines the effect of school choice policies on
student redistribution and social stratification, and its
competitive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of
traditional public schools. Yongmei’s work utilizes nonlinear HLM
and fixed effects models.
