Admission & Application Forms
In addition to meeting requirements of the University and the College
of Education, students must meet the requirements of the department.
Application for admission to the program are reviewed by faculty who
look for indications of a high probability of success.
Such indications include a high level of academic performance,
a high score on the G.R.E. general test, and a statement of
professional goals that is consistent with the objectives of the
program. The applicant must submit 3 letters of recommendation
from a professor or employer. The applicant is required to submit a
departmental application form, as well as a University application
form.
Upon request for admission to the program, the departmental application
is mailed to the applicant with the University application form. Persons
are admitted to the program only for fall semester.
The deadline for submitting applications for admission is December
15 of the year prior to which enrollment is sought. If space is available
in the program, late applications will be accepted.
