Susan Peters is an associate professor of education that brings multicultural and international perspectives to her courses in teacher education and special education. Issues of disability, disadvantaged youth, and urban education are her central research concerns. She has collaborated with teachers in an urban, predominantly African- American school district in Michigan. She is particularly interested in improving instruction and service delivery for special needs students.
