Supervisory Assistantships:
Agency and School
Counseling M.A. Interns - (1/4 time) Provide weekly clinical
supervision to masters counseling interns (using audiotaped
counseling sessions and process reports). Assist counseling
interns identify professional development goals in
collaboration with site supervisors. Consult with on-site
supervisors regarding process of interns. Consult with
faculty and staff concerning student needs.
Agency and School Masters
students - (1/4 time)
Advisory Assistantships:
Graduate Assistant Advisor
- (1/4 time) Consult with counseling students regarding
professional development issues, consult with prospective
students regarding admission into counseling program, assist
counseling students in designing program plans and in
selecting practicum and internships sites. Provide
assistance to counseling students regarding licensing and
certification issues, assist counseling students in
developing research interests, critique audiotaped
counseling sessions. Organize professional development
seminars for counseling students, organize student mentor-mentee
program for counseling students, design and organize student
handbook in collaboration with program director, consult
with faculty and staff regarding students' academic needs.
Research Assistantships:
