Program Overview
A unique opportunity for educators who want to learn more
about student assessment has been created by Michigan State
University. The College of Education has started a
three-course sequence (nine semester hours) for
practitioners that will lead to a Certificate in Educational
Assessment. These courses will help educators better
understand the educational assessments they administer and
use. The courses are designed for educators with a minimum
of statistical or technical background, and will stress the
understanding of key measurement concepts situated in
practical settings.
These courses are taught live online and on campus
simultaneously. Students can take these classes either way.
